Application process and stage progression
There are two stages to the application process and the guide below explains the process in more detail.
In Stage 1, entrants must apply by submitting their ideas.
Stage 1 submission should provide an overview of your idea with supporting evidence for the potential benefits and safety improvements.
Successful entrants to Stage 2 will be informed via email and asked to commit to a round of dates to enable mentoring.
In Stage 2 successful entrants will have the opportunity to discuss their ideas with an appointed mentor. All successful competitors will be invited to participate in a half day day mentor programme which will provide access to Loss prevention, Risk Assessors, Senior managers, and industry experts.
Competitors will then have 4 months to work on their initial concept and develop their thinking to produce a final submission for publication.
Submissions can be in any format from a written white paper, a presentation, a video or even a prototype of your idea.
A panel of judges, made up of leading industry figures, will review competitors final submissions and a shortlist will be agreed.
